Product Details

Drapolene Cream 350g is used for the prevention and treatment of nappy rash and in the treatment of minor burns and wounds. Soothing effective relief.

Directions

Adults: Apply twice daily or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Children: Apply evenly at each nappy change, paying particular attention to the folds of the skin.
Drapolene Cream is for topical use only. Before applying Drapolene Cream make sure that the affected area is dry and free from all traces of soap.

Ingredients

contains the active ingredients: Benzalkonium chloride solution 0.02% w/w (equivalent to Benzalkonium chloride 0.01% w/w) and Cetrimide 0.2% w/w in a water miscible base.
It also contains: White soft paraffin, wool fat (purified lanolin), cetyl alcohol, polawax, chlorocresol, amaranth (E123) and water.

Side Effects

Side-effects are not common with Drapolene Cream.
Drapolene Cream may occasionally cause an allergic reaction, for example a skin rash.
If this happens to you, or you have any other unusual side-effects, stop using the treatment and tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings

Drapolene Cream is suitable for most people, but a few people should not use it. Ask yourself the following question to check whether Drapolene Cream is suitable for you.
• Have you ever had a reaction to Drapolene Cream or any of its ingredients?
If you answer yes to this question, tell your doctor or pharmacist at once.

Drapolene Cream should be kept in the original packaging at normal room temperature (below 25°C).
As with all medicines, Drapolene Cream should be stored well away from children.
Do not use Drapolene Cream after the last day of the month shown on the expiry date. Return any out-of-date medicine to your pharmacist.
