Product Details

Glycerol (glycerin) suppositories promotes the emptying of the bowels. For the short term treatment of constipation and used as a laxative. Works in about 20 minutes. Particularly useful where speed is needed or where stools are described as 'like bullets'.

Directions

Insert one suppository into the rectum. Moisten the tip of the suppository before insertion.

Works in about 20 minutes. Effect may be severe or unpredictable.

Ingredients

Glycerol 70% w/w, gelatin, water.

Side Effects

Stomach cramp.

Warnings

Do not swallow.

Do not store above 25C.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not use if you believe you have an intestinal blockage.

Prolonged use is not recommended.

If symptoms persist consult your pharmacist or doctor.
