Product Details

Stone's essence of rennet for west country style junket. (A delicious dessert) If you're looking for a delicious dessert or pudding that's delightfully different, try junket. One of the oldest and most charming dishes in the west country, junket provides all the restoring goodness of milk in an easily digested form. Quick to make, delicious to taste, junket is popular with people of all ages.

Directions

To each pint (600ml) of warm milk (37C, 98F - Do Not Boil), add 2-3 teaspoons of essence of rennet. Sweeten with 1 tablespoon of either honey or sugar and allow to set in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.

When set sprinkle with nutmeg and serve with cream.

Ingredients

Water, sodium chloride, rennet enzyme, preservative (E211), almond flavour.
